Q: What is considered a "page"?
A: A page is one side of the paper. For example, a spread would be considered two pages.

A: If you don't see the album size you want, email us! We will try our best to accommodate your request.
Q: Can I send you my photos electronically?
A: Currently we are unable to accept your photos electronically. You can mail us a CD or DVD containing your high-resolution photos at:
Q: Will I get my disc back?
A: Only upon special request. We strongly recommend sending us a copy of your disc in case it gets lost or damaged in the mail. Your pictures are irreplaceable!
Q: How many photos should I submit to be included in my album?
A: It depends on the size of your album and the look you'd like to achieve. We can usually accommodate any amount of pictures you request, but pages with a lot of pictures tend to look crowded. We recommend choosing approximately 1-3 pictures per page for a small album (6x6 and 8x8), 2-4 pictures per page for a medium album (8x10, 8.5x11, and 10x10), and 3-5 pictures per page for a large album (12x12 and 11x14). If you have extra pictures, put them in an "Optional" folder on your disc. We'll include them if we can do so without compromising design.
Q: When are payments due?
A: Once you place your order, you will recieve an invoice for 50% of your subtotal. Your subtotal is the number you'll find on our Price List. Once we receive your first payment, we will begin design work. The remaining 50% is due upon album approval. In this invoice, we will include any additional fees incurred for the options you select, as well as shipping and tax. As soon as we receive your second payment, we'll send your album into production.
Q: Will you do image correction or remove items in the background of my photos?
A: We will do basic image correction on each photo as needed. More extensive Photoshop work -- like removing people/items from the background, correcting glare, etc. -- will be done at your request for an additional charge.
Q: How many revisions am I allowed to make to my album?
A: You can make as many revisions as you'd like to your draft. We will implement your changes and send you a new draft. You can make up to two rounds of revisions to your album. After reviewing the third draft, if there are still changes you'd like to make, you can do so for $25/additional draft.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: We can drop-ship your album directly to you for less than $3! If you are local, you can also arrange a pick-up from our Palo Alto office and pay no shipping at all.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept checks or money order, made payable to "Design Mine".
Q: How long will it take to receive my finished album?
A: That depends on you! Once we receive your pictures and payment, we will have a draft ready for you within one week. Take as much time as you'd like to look it over. Send us your revisions and we'll send you another draft. Once you approve your album, it will arrive on your doorstep within 2 weeks. In most cases, we can produce your album much sooner than that. Let us know if you're under a deadline and we'll rush your order!
Q: I am a professional photographer and have my own printer/album maker in place. Do you provide design services only?
